Vanguard School Visit

Post date: May 20, 2016 9:25:14 PM

On May 20th, Old Wives Watershed Association was privileged to share some knowledge with the Vanguard Grade 8, 9, & 10 class.

We went out to the Whiska Creek and got to have a very hands on experience! This includes water quality testing, measuring stream flow, texturing soil, and identifying plants and animal tracks.

We were excited to share our insight on water quality within the Old Wives Watershed, the importance of riparian health, and how interconnected to the environment we can be!

We thank the Vanguard School for allowing us this opportunity and hope to be back again next year.

If this sounds like something that your school would be interested in, let us know!
