Battery Recycling

We collect your used batteries at our office!

Batteries can and should be recycled. Here’s why:

  • Battery recycling keeps harmful materials out of landfill
Used batteries that end up in your community’s landfill can contain toxic materials that may harm wildlife and the environment.

  • Battery recycling helps keep people and property safe
Responsible battery recycling practices ensure batteries are handled in a way that reduces potential fire hazards

  • Battery recycling helps to make new products from old sources
Materials reclaimed from recycled batteries can be used to make new products.

If you can't make it to the office to drop off your batteries don't despair, we have drop off locations in Gravelbourg at SARCAN and the Gravelbourg Home Hardware Building Centre.

*Call2Recycle accepts single-use batteries like AA, AAA, 9V, D, C and others, as well as rechargeable batteries often found in portable devices like cellphones, laptop computers, and old power tools.
